Privacy Policy
Effective November 2, 2026
We collect only what Dinnerline needs, we don't sell or share your information for advertising, and you can delete everything anytime. Bearfox Creative LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company, is responsible for your information.
What we collect
| What | Examples | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Waitlist | Your email address, your optional answer to "What are you cooking this year?", and which version of the page you saw | To send you one email when Dinnerline opens, and to learn which page wording and dishes matter most |
| Account | Email address and sign-in details | To save your plans and let you sign in |
| Your plans | Dishes, kitchen setup (ovens, burners, cooks), serve times | To build and save your plans |
| Recipe imports | The page address you import, the ingredient list, and the steps as you saved them (never the recipe's method text) | To turn your recipes into plans |
| Purchases | Which plan you bought and when | To unlock your plan and handle refunds. Link (Stripe) keeps your payment details and billing country, and we never see your card number |
| Site totals | Daily counts of page visits, signups and printable downloads, grouped by page version and by the name of the website that sent the visitor | To see which channels and page versions work. These are totals only, not tied to you |
| Technical logs | IP address, browser type, error reports | To keep Dinnerline secure and fix problems |
Cookies and tracking
The app uses only the cookies that keep you signed in. The waitlist site uses none. We don't use cookies for advertising, and we don't use third-party analytics or tracking tools. Your browser stores one small setting, which version of the home page you were shown, so the page looks the same when you come back. It holds no identifier and never leaves your device. Because we don't track you across websites, Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals don't change anything here. We never track you either way.
Who helps us run Dinnerline
These companies process information for us under their own privacy and security terms. We don't share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
| Company | What it does for Dinnerline |
|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosts the website and app, and keeps short-lived request logs, including IP addresses, to run and secure them |
| Supabase | Stores the waitlist, your account and plans, and handles sign-in |
| Stripe (Link) | Sells and processes purchases as merchant of record, sends receipts, handles refunds |
| Anthropic | Converts the recipes you import into steps. We send the recipe page's content, not your account details. Anthropic processes it only to do this for us and, under its commercial terms, doesn't use it to train its models |
| Fastmail | Sends and receives our email |
How long we keep it
- Waitlist: until we send the launch email, then for 90 days so you can still find us, and then it's deleted. If you create an account, your account takes over.
- Your account, dishes and plans: until you delete them or your account.
- Purchase records: Link (Stripe), the merchant of record, keeps them as tax law requires. Deleting your account removes ours.
- Technical logs: up to 30 days.
- Site totals: kept, since they contain nothing about you.
Your choices
Wherever you live, you can ask to see, download, correct or delete your information. Most of it is in Settings. For anything else, or anything about the waitlist, email us and we'll answer within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your dishes, plans and purchase records with us. To delete payment details held by Link, contact Link support.
We send only the emails you need, such as sign-in links. If you join the waitlist, we send you one email when Dinnerline opens, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
Children
Dinnerline isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Security
Information is encrypted between your device and our servers, and access is limited to what's needed to run Dinnerline. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you, we'll tell you.
Changes
If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page, change the date above, and tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
