Refund Policy
Effective November 2, 2026
If you pay for Dinnerline and don't use what you paid for, you get your money back. For the Holiday Pass, you don't even have to ask.
Holiday Pass ($9)
- Unused passes are refunded automatically. If you never build a plan that needs the pass (more than one of your own dishes in a plan, or more than one imported recipe), we refund it in full in the first week of January 2027. No email, no form. Building a plan counts as using the pass, even if you never open the countdown, because the plan is most of what you're paying for.
- Changed your mind before then? Write to us anytime before January 1, 2027, and we'll refund an unused pass right away.
- Used it, and dinner went wrong because of Dinnerline? Tell us what happened. We read every note and decide fairly.
Annual plan ($29 per year)
- Refund within 14 days. Ask within 14 days of buying or renewing. If you haven't built a paid plan since, we refund it in full, no questions asked.
- After 14 days, you can cancel anytime and keep everything until the end of the year you paid for. We don't give partial refunds for the rest of the year.
- Renewal is your choice. When you buy, you choose to renew automatically or to be asked first, and you can change it anytime in Settings. With automatic renewal, you get a reminder email before each renewal date. If you renew by accident, the 14-day refund above applies.
How refunds work
- Where the money goes. Refunds go back to the original payment method, including any tax you paid. Purchases are sold through Link, operated by Stripe, which processes the refund. Banks usually take 5 to 10 business days to show it.
- How to ask. Email hello@dinnerline.app from the address you used to buy, or contact Link support from your receipt.
- Your legal rights. If the law where you live gives you a right to cancel or a refund (for example, the 14-day right of withdrawal in the EU and UK), you have that right in addition to this policy.
